Why JW Jaeger?
Growing up in a house filled with DJs in the suburbs of Chicago, JW learned to love music at a very young age—his first performance was at a wedding at the age of 14.
JW served in the US Army as bandsman for 3 years. He was a member of the USO touring band “USA Express” deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan to perform for thousands of troops. Then he served in the 82nd Airborne Division Band stationed at Fort Bragg, NC.
With hundreds of performances and weddings under his belt, JW is committed to making your special day one that your family will never forget and completely stress free.
JW delivers incredible energy from the moment your guests arrive, creating just the right atmosphere for your event. Some of JW’s specialties include today’s Top 40, party classics, and country music. He also brings his musical knowledge to special events such as Indian and Bollywood inspired weddings and contemporary Christian weddings.
JW does corporate events too! JW has been the DJ for many national acts and major corporations including Pepsi, IBM, Macy’s Harold Square͟, AT&T, Boar’s Head Meat and The University of Florida Football Team. JW is also the exclusive DJ for the Robertson family of the hit A&E TV show Duck Dynasty and the country mega band Florida Georgia Line.
When JW is not at an event or wedding, he and his wife, Karrie, love to enjoy the Florida sunshine and play with their dogs, Cosmo, Sadie and Rufus. Vacationing often means traveling to Karrie’s hometown of Pittsburgh and enjoying her family’s farm, or kicking back on a Disney cruise. As a drummer with Global Missions Project, JW travels all around the world to spread his faith.
JW's Wedding Philosophy:
“I get asked all the time what the secret is to the weddings I DJ. I tell couples it’s about moments— incredible moments. It’s about being in the moment when you have the ability to. It’s about creating awesome when people don’t expect it. But truly, it’s about being authentic. It’s about those real, life changing moments!”
